K1k -- Het duizendjarige Keizerrijk From: "RA" <RabiAkiva@gmail.com> Date: Tue, 21 Feb 2006 09:15:51 +0000 How many Dutch and Flemish roleplayers participate in English PBeMs? Hundreds is my guess. They do not seem to be aware that they can play in their native tongue in an excellent fantasy game: K1k. K1k, is the successor of CrazByia, which started in 1999 and has consistenly produced content, as can be seen online at: http://www.k1k.nl. The makers of K1k also do PBeM experiments in English, both in Fantasy as in SciFi setting. An example can be viewed at: http://www.crazbyia.nl/content/view/122/12/ What happens in K1k today? In order to get away from the crowds and the spies, the druid Oleander invites his fellows for a breakfast under an ancient oak tree outside the city. Finally they get to know each othwer a little bit better and can device some plans as to how to deal with Baron Keitaan. And with Guit. They do not know where he is, but fate has made it so that each of them is sworn to the protection of the fugitive. If any had doubts about the severity of their oaths, the gods have made them think otherwise, for each has seen his god when taking the pledge. Which, in turn raises a peculiar question: why do the gods seem bent on protecting the 'godless' bard? Up
