Defense is much worse then Offense. Well, this is right, BUT if defense would be easier the game would NEVER end, cause after 1-2 years or so there are still about 3-5 fractions, which are very strong. And mostly each of them owns a city, which is needed by all to win the game. And if this city is very strong (2000 or more max Defender) with legendary walls etc., its nearly impossible to conquer it, if defense is better (its still DAM good), Pendor in CoA is a good example, or Avalon. 2. About bards: Well, yes, sometimes its easy to curse a general and then knock down a Fortress, but one can defend his general against this, by giving him a bottle of Almonguava vine in a free slot. This thing always does a 5% permanet bless. So you still have quite a good Tactics rating and the enemy dosent get this big bonuses. 3. Move Location spell: The most positions in the game can NEVER effort this spell in a normal game. You need a hero, who is specialiced on Arcane from the beginning to cast this spell, and if he hasnt equired an item which saves many SP he can cast the spell every 5-6 months. And belive me. In normal games Items which save more then 10 SP are VERY RARE. I think the prob was, that you have started your Legends playing with a special game, where all charcters are much stronger then usual. But trie to work up an Arcane master from 31 to 40-50 and you will agree, that this guy deserves to cast such mighty spells. 4. Kidnapping a General: Just put about 200-300 guards in one of your slots, and assassins and thieves will have chances in seven hells and you will catch them with a very high chance.
