You asked for a big, brute basher from this rollup and my opinion is
that this rollup won't even make a decent scum basher.  Dark arena and
hope for a better rollup.

If run correctly, these guys will run 55-60% win/loss (70% if TP).  Sure,
they'll both learn skills pretty good, but when stat raise time comes they're
going to make you pay way too much money.  The 17-17 bit comes from
you need at least two 17s to make up for the lousy will.  Ever try getting
that 6th raise to reach 21 deftness? When starting with the 15 deftness
you'll only be hitting the 17 breakpoint by stat raises, then you have to
wait for the next breakpoint of 21 which will be your 6th stat raise.  And
the deftness of 22 to 25 will be almost non-existant as you'll be trying
to raise under 7% chance.

Example using one of the rollups above:
10-12-9-17-14-7-15 Original
11-12-9-17-14-7-15 Regular arena, raise ST once, skills otherwise
                   Then you get to Advanced Duelmasters after 25 regular
                   fights and a couple tourneys (1 year or so)
13-15-9-(20)-14-7-15  ADM, the 20 wit is optional just to try and increase
                      your chances of getting the 115th to 120th skill
15-17-9-22-19-12-20 After 2-3 years and you finish off your 5th stat raises
                    Then it's good luck getting the 6th on stat raises

Initial character design is the most important thing in DM.  The purpose
of DM fights is to WIN, and you need a very good design to throttle other
players.  My friends and I didn't play DM to run 30-40% W/L characters, we
played so we could crush the competition and rub it in their faces (and have
a good time with the insults, spotlights, etc in the newsletter).  A well
designed character gives you wins against sub-par designs, bragging rights,
and game credits.

You can do well with characters without two 17+ in WT,WL,or DF, but don't
expect to compete with the better designed characters.  My friends and I
have run quite a few sub-par characters, getting W/L of even 80% plus, but
none of those characters ever made it to Primus (or were retired when
inducted to Primus).

It's all up to you if you want to run those types of characters.
