How can you say DM is cheaper?  Just because you run five characters and get
five fights (about 5-8 pages of output) doesn't mean it is cheaper.  In AG you
get 15-20 pages of output with 7 or 8 fights (8 if you use the challenge
option).  Your reading/paying for fights.  I guess it all depends on how you
look at it.

I am talking from experience.  I knew a lot of people through DM.  I haven't
talked to one that was happy when they left.  I think people who enjoyed the
game would also be vocal about it if the subject was brought up (like in this
group).

You might disagree, but I wish someone had bashed DM when I first started.
It would have made me reconsider if it was worth playing and I would have
looked at other possible games.  When someone reviews a game for one of the PBM
magazines, they will bash the game if it is a bad game.

You are playing DM because of the concept of the game.  AG takes the concept
much farther than DM and provides more of what you will eventually want.

I find it hard to believe that after all we say about DM, people still
decide to try it first and then maybe look at AG later.  I will always bash DM
and RSI because they earned it.  If you decide to ignore our warnings then go
ahead and have as much fun as you can.  I just hope you don't end up leaving DM
the same way many people have.
