Not exactly cheaper.  Duelmasters costs $10.75 for 5 fights.  Adventurers
Guild costs $9.75 for 7 guild fights for that one character, with an
optional 8th fight and special game actions.  Adventuring costs $9.25 per
character (average length of results 13-16 pages).
