Description:

"Towers of the Wizard" is a free to play multiplayer RPG.  Players create
their own wizard character to pursue their goals in the land of Elliandor.
 The magi have organised a society of their own, dwelling in communes
known as 'towers'. But every mage is individual with their own goals and
ambitions with an eye out only for the one thing: to become the mightiest
of arch-magi.  Accompanied by like-minded peers or only their trusty
shield-guards in pursuit of fame and fortune, the wizards undertake
momentous adventures in places about which only few dare to speak - except
of course, the story-tellers over a beer at the inn's hearthside on cold
nights.  But would even they dare to mention your name without taking
heed?

Yet knowledge is power and the magi may wish to tarry in their tower and
whilst pursuing their studies for greater things, ascend the ranks
politically using coercion and guile, or perhaps preferring to bargain -
cooperating: making friends in the pursuit of influence for enemies will
surely abound.

Thus life begins having passed into the ranks of a true wizard where now
power and prestige await...  All the ingredients are here for a persistent
world that grows and grows as the wizard becomes the mightiest of
arch-magi.

Read and write books of lore, or swing that ancient sword of power; rings
on the finger and swirling robes of runes: Adventure for fame and fortune
- Bargain for power and prestige.  "All things for a wizard and to a
wizard - all things."
