One of my characters, Maug, is now L2 in Martial Arts.  I am still not
sure if the skill is worth it.  The skill is very,very expensive.  So, if
you commit to training with it, use kick and spiked guantlets for weapons.
I would not use any other weapons. If you want martial arts, design your
character around it.  As a new skill, martial arts is still developing.  In
the future, there will probably be enhaunced trip, paralyzing blows, and
missile parries.  There are also benefits to martial arts, such as reduced
falling effects, that are hidden.  CM Sure-Strike is what drew me to the
skill.  There are many very good characters who are good because they are
very hard to hit.  I hope to use Maug's high strength and Sure Strike to
nail them.
