I have to agree with Garth here.  Competition is the big thing that I
enjoy with DM.  I can't stand the thought of playing a computer instead
of a human has no appeal.  I played Hyborian War for a short time but
many people dropped the game and I was surrounded by computer played
countries.  After all, why have AI when you can have I?  DM is
perfect since you're enjoyment is not tied to a specific individual
staying in the game.

Absolutely.  I have never seen an arena with as much of a "character" as
the mid 80's Lyratilan.  Not only that, but it was almost always at the
top when it came to TV's.

I too have noticed that Tarot has some real lame'oes at the top.
However, they are starting to clear out some of the mediocre
warriors (with mediocre names) and starting to replaced them
with a little better quality.
