Description:

Casting can only be gauranteed to be open for 10 days since the date of

"Tension is building between the races and there are those who would
strengthen the ancient hatreds between them. Are those in power are on the
verge of repeating a senseless and deadly mistake or will wiser heads
prevail?"

Prologue
--------------------
Long ago, a great war between the races plunged the world into centuries
of darkness. Few alliances were made and almost as many as were made were
broken. The death count was immeasurable and some races are now believed
to be extinct. Today the war is known as The Great Racial War.

In time, the gods intervened, fearing that the world they had used so much
energy in creating would be destroyed in the chaos. The gods divided the
many races, giving each their own suitable homeland and appointing a wise
person as their king or queen. A shaky peace slowly developed among the
new kingdoms. However, the gods were not satisfied with this -- they
carried away thirteen people from each race, one for each of the great
gods, and forced these people to build a city together.

Centuries have passed since then. The city, once small and new, is now
called Xinca, the City at the Center of the World, for in this city all
the kingdoms are connected. Xinca is ruled by a group of priests, one
selected, for better or worse, by each race. Though there is still some
racial bigotry, Xinca is as close to utopia as exists in the world. But
now tension is building between the kingdoms...

Details: We have started recently but are still looking for players, and
will continue to do so for the next 10 days from the time this is posted
on the website.

We will be using www.Storycrafter.com (free roleplaying forums and) the
Risus game system which is free and extremely simple. The whole rule book
is 6 pages, and you can learn as you go along. Check the website for
details.
