I agree that AG is a little expensive.  However, you do get 7 fights, with
an optional 8th.  Results are usually 15-20 laser printed pages and you get
a newsletter.

Perhaps we can get everyone to post how much they get for their money? I
heard that Legends runs around $20 for a kingdom position and the rulebooks
and setup cost around $25?

I've played:
Game               Average turn results     Turn costs
Adventurers Guild  15-20 pages,newsletter   $9.75 first, +$9.00 2nd on
                   Laser printed
Duelmasters        10 pages,newsletter      $10.75 for 5 characters
                   Laser printed            (normal arena)
Alamaze(RSI run)   15 pages,laser printed   $7
Earthwood          8-10 pages,dot matrix    $4 or so
