(Has anyone had characters captured that way?) 2. The rumored formula for in-discipline spell research is roughly (6*char_level - spell_level^3)/2 with bonuses for guild and money. So if a level-36 character tries to research a level-6 spell in a level-45 guild (45% bonus), and spends quadruple crowns (40% bonus), would the success chance be (216-216)/2 +45% + 40% = 85% or ((216-216)/2 +45%) *140% = 63% or ((216-216)/2 +40%) *145% = 58% or (216-216)/2 *140% + 45% = 45% or (216-216)/2 *145% + 40% = 40% or (216-216)/2 *145% * 140% = 0%?
