Like was said earlier, if she had a natural TAC of 8, then the fortifications
were giving +24 TAC (improved stone, right?).  That coincidentally means that
the fortifications were giving +24DF.  Figure the troops had a natural DF of
8-19 (level 10 dwarf knights with plate and shield = 2.5 + 2 + 2 + 10 + 2
= 18.5).  With the fortifications bonus, that gives them an effective DF of
32-43.  Assuming you had *no* tactics, the effective DF would be 2.6*normal,
or 83-110.

To figure out the effective DF, do the following:

1) Figure the base DF (race DF + TRL DF + training DF + status DF
	   + armor DF)
	2) Add fortifications DF
	3) Multiply by the tactics bonus if applicable

This doesn't include modifications for INV/DAM, which I *think* acts as a
multiplier between 2 and 3 above (doesn't matter if it's before or after 3).
