I have a character with two fairydusts equipped for a total of +16 MR.  His
MR has remained constant for four or five productions now.

I have to disagree with Dani, to an extent.  Elixer of Strength gives +5MR.
Fairydust gives +8MR.  First-hand experience.  So I don't think there's a +1
rule.  But the original poster was wrong about the Diplomat's elixer,
however.  It gives either +1 or +2 (my list says +2 but I remember it giving
+1).  It most definitely does *not* give +5 when equipped - that's as good
as Blood of Silvercoat!

*I'm* just waiting for the Legends module that lets me run a fairy barbarian
character...
