SPARF is a simulation of Australian Rules Football in which you take the
role of team manager, and direct your training staff to improve your
team in various skills, and make lineups designed to emploits weaknesses
of your opponent's teams.  Trading, signing rookies, and injuries are
all part of the fun.  For details on the game, send the message "help"
to munch@soda.berkeley.edu to get a complete list of commands (the
section on SPARF is all you need to pay attention to).  To run a
command, just send another letter with that command in the subject line.

The two important ones you need to work with are "rules" (which gives
you the rules of the game) and "subscribe" (which puts you on the
mailing list, the waiting list, and tells you how to become a manager)

The pre-season rookie draft starts Monday the 23rd, so sign up fast, as
once the three openings are gone, it could be a very long time before
any more open up.
