This brings up a question I have been meaning to ask.  When the starting
skills for a character are determined, is there a fixed method used to
determine those skills, or is there an element of random chance involved.
In other words, if you and I happened to get identical roll-ups and
also happened to set them up identically, would the starting skills be
the same or different?

Based on the limited experience I've had so far, I'd have to agree, but I
have also found that very low wit characters are pretty pathetic too.  I think
it is important to avoid having WT, WL or DF below 7, but given my druthers,
I'll take a higher WL anyday.

It helps in terms of weapon selection, but not too much else.
