AG: Questions on Deities From: pat3n@dayhoff.med.Virginia.EDU (Patrick A. Truman) Date: Thu, 19 Aug 1993 14:49:22 +0000 Hello all! I've got a few questions for anyone out there into deities. What's the best way to increase one's devotedness? As far as I can tell, I can either donate money to the temple, perform devotions, or gain converts. Which of these works the best? Also, does one have to continually devote/donate/etc to keep the devotedness from slipping down? I ask this because a 5gp donation to the good temple moved Barrymore from neutral good to good for one turn, but then he slipped back to neutral good the next turn. And how about this new tithing percentage option while adventuring-- what are your thoughts on it, and does tithing increase your devotedness? Does anyone out there know the penalties for undevoting to any of the deities? I'm particularly interested in Palindur and Eniki... Oh, and an observation. One of my characters was given a silver clasp with agate three turns ago, but I keep forgetting to sell it. It's value has dropped from 88 to 75 and is now down to 17. Once again I have forgotten to sell it, so I'd expect it's going to be worthless very shortly. Has anyone else noticed this with items? Thanks, pat Barrymore and Gnoglette in Antar Referenced By Up
