So far the alpha test has run 14 turns. The bugs are slowly being ironed out. Parts of the game still need to be finished, but I would like to get a few more players in to help with the testing. Not everyone is right for the alpha test. Here is what I need from potential alpha-players: o You must read all the rules and send back comments and edits. o You must be able to get orders in daily, by 6pm EDT. o You must not become so attached to your alpha test faction that you will be upset when the game abruptly ends. o You must play with the primary goal of testing the game. At some point the alpha test will be shut down, a new map will be generated, and a beta test will be started from scratch. The beta test will have more players and a slower turnaround (one or two turns/week). No Olympia Times is published for the alpha test. Thanks! -- Rich Skrenta <skrenta@rt.com> Up
