Lizards) If you play try and get the host to get a copy of the v3.1F host. This is more configurable than the old one... Also some hints on the game - Don't build a huge fleet at the beginning esp. if the homeworlds are not that close... It is better to save your minerals and money and buy bigger/better ships after 5 or 6 turns. This way when the other players get to you with their cheap ships because thay are running out of money your ships will be able to destroy them with only 1-20% damage which is easialy repaired. Another thing is to get the highest level engine as possible. If you have weaker engines then you will run out of fuel quicker. If you aren't traveling that far I'd use the HyperDrive 8 engines... They take less fuel than the Transworp except at warp 8 and 9. The last clue I have is when you take colonists to a new planet bring at least 100 clans. This way if there is Amorphous people on the planet you will survive and thats one more planet for you (You have to leave your tak rate ot 0% to survive though) Also when you go to a new planet bring money and supplies... This way you can build factories to get more supplies and then mines and defense. That is all I've picked up from playing the game for the past few weeks. -- Chris Macomber delan@jab.tucson.az.us Up
