Arena Commentary From: gunzler@netcom.com (Mitch Gunzler) Date: Fri, 17 Sep 1993 20:17:09 +0000 I've had a lot of fun watching an unarmed fighter twirl his weapon over his head, clash it metallically with his foes, bang it against the arena floor... ... but I understand, it's a real nuisance to provide for a bunch of special cases. Much easier to construct a few simple tests and "switch" on the results. One of the cute things about C, though, is you can keep checking down the cases in a swtich statement, and produce the following which I just got back in my turn commentary: <> * Osso Grande (6-6) humiliated Sir Meister (5-6) in 4 rounds.
