In the UK, Rahn Games, players turns are processed AFTER production.
Being on the day of production is thus an excellent time to summon
that minor divinity or Demon.  You have a very good chance of success
and get three turns use.

The basic answer is NO.  Only Nomads do it.  I used to think that
farmers produced in such forces but this is not the case.  Laborers
in such a force can be oredered to do anything in the normal run
of TT orders as this is NOT a Production activity.  ie. Train
mounts, I have done this on the move.  In a similar manner, crafts
men can convert resources.  Also, shipbuilders could convert ship
units into boats.  Make sure you can carry it though.  All TT
orders still work, Production doesn't.

I've no input to check this but it sounds like a mistake by MG.  Point
it out.
