NIC list has a few additions. ROI has a minor addition COA a few additions from NCOA AUST The Legends MEGA Item and Monster lists are now available via ftp. To get them: ftp ftp.astro.cf.ac.uk username: anonymous password: your e-mail address cd /pub/outgoing/Items LINKS HAVE BEEN SET UP SO THAT IF YOU CAN GET THE LATEST VERSION OF EACH LIST BY ftping: coa.lis roi.lis nic.lis monsters.lis The raw files in that directory of the form: NameVersionnumber.lis eg. the current files are: roi003.lis The 13-08-93 files have become version 1. nic006.lis coa002.lis mons065.lis Difference files: nic5-6.dif mons5-6.dif roi2-3.dif coa1-2.dif It makes obvious what two versions it is the difference between. This file can be used to generate the later version from the earlier version using the unix command `patch'. Besides that, it is very useful for pulling out the NEW additions to the list. Hopefully this file names will be compatible to all users. I will post the lists on the net at least once a month for those who cannot ftp them. Keep e-mailing the items. Dean Referenced By Up
