Looking for a dice-roller... From: moudgill@cs.cornell.edu ( Mayan Moudgill) Date: Fri, 24 Sep 1993 20:33:49 +0000 I was wondering whether there was a program/system/server, that on recieving a mail message, mDn, would roll m n-sided dice, mark it with some unique ID, and mail the result back to a list of people (including the sender of the mail message). It could also be sent back a confirm message, in which it would be sent the ID, and would return the results for that ID. Thus, <mail to server by d12@world.co> roll: 4D8 to: foo@bar.edu gamma@foo.com <mail sent to foo@bar.edu gamma@foo.com d12@world.co> ID#451234:12:0:3:14:09:93 4 5 1 2 <mail sent by foo@bar.edu, to check that the message was kosher> confirm: ID#451234:12:0:3:14:09:93 <mail sent to foo@bar.edu> 4 5 1 2 Would be REALLY nice.... :) Mayan Up
