If anyone else would be interested in such a game, drop me a line; I'm seriously considering making up my own person moderated (I'd never be able to prgoram such a thing!) email game on this premise. In basics it would have some in common with Galaxy et al; you name a race, are given a home planet and some production, and probe the galaxy. However, the game (of necessity) would be on a much smaller scale; and although combat is certianly possible, I'm more interested in roleplaying the interaction between a dozen alien species as they meet in the galaxy. For those familiar with the game, I'm thinking a lot on the lines of Star Control 2, the commercial computer game. Be a Spathi! Be an Ur-Quan! (I've got the Umgah, sorry. Har har har!)
