GALAXY Enigma: Final Report From: rnovak@nyx.cs.du.edu (Robert Novak) Date: Fri, 01 Oct 1993 21:58:55 +0000 Greetings. About two weeks or so ago, my second galaxy game, enigma, concluded. This message officially reports the outcome for purposes of the Galaxy Hall of Fame and public notice. Keith Sorn (ksorn@roma.physics.uiuc.edu), playing Toxians, took a very decisive victory at the end of this game, with little opposition for much of the last few turns. The game concluded at about turn 82, running for approximately 16 weeks at five turns per week. The game had 30 players to start, so he has earned 30 points in the Galaxy Hall of Fame. This number is based on information from shortly after the game started, since a move between systems caused the loss of early reports from this game. Thanks to all who played in this game.
