Arena strategy From: STTP <STTP@MUSIC.CC.UGA.EDU> Date: Mon, 11 Oct 1993 17:12:50 +0000 I dont want to sound like I am whining, as I really enjoy playing the ARENA PB(e)M game, but I have noticed something about its design that sort of annoys me. Right now it appears that trying to husband stamina and set up a detail strategy plan is pretty useless. Most of the people I know who play ARENA simply concentrate all of their attribute points to a single stat, give themselves a few stamina points, and then set their strategy to a straight (fighting style) 9 9. I started out trying to plan my strategy carefully, but it became apparent to me after some time that any character who was set at maximum effort could very easily cut me down before they tired out or I even got a chance to get a good blow in. If this ARENA game is ever revised again, its creator might want to take this into consideration. IMHO, I think that a good idea would be to change the strategy part so that a person designates a ratio of defense to offense, instead of all-out effort. Referenced By Up
