Players wanted for UNIX port of Atlantis.1.0 From: btl@ic.ac.uk (B.T. Liddicott) Date: Fri, 15 Oct 1993 12:37:21 +0000 Hi guys, and most praise to the Great God Russel Wallace: My friend and I are starting a new game of Atlantis 1, which he has ported to unix. We seek 15-20 players for an initial beta-test. The details you may want are as follows: The Gods will be playing. We won't cheat though. Oh no. No. Not us. The rules may change at any time during the game, as we hope to find solutions to the current problem where the game expands exponentialy towards a big CWUMPF. We will of course give notice of rule changes, and tell you what they are at all times. We are aiming at the ideal of an open ended game, and the beta-test may (or may not) be continued into a full game, if we succeed in our size limitation efforts. Anyone interested in playing should email me at b.liddicott@ic.ac.uk or Eduardo Pellegrino at e.w.pellegrino@ic.ac.uk. Cheers, +-----------------------+----I think that when the aliens come,----+ | Ben Liddicott | they will look like us, talk like us and | | b.liddicott@ic.ac.uk | think like us. We'd better have some | +-----------------------+----bloody big guns waiting for them.-----+ Up
