Still need players for VGA-Planets games... From: pcrossma@cs.uml.edu (The Gillrocker) Date: Thu, 11 Nov 1993 16:09:32 +0000 I'm starting two new planets games!!!! GAME1 Two sides of the galaxy are at war with each other, and peace will never be reached. There will be a fight to the death... Here are the sides Please note which races are taken... Robots(taken) Empire Rebels Colonies Lizards(taken) VS. Privateers(taken) Fascists Birdmen Cyborg Crystals I will be using host 3.12c... We can discuss the fine parameters once players are gathered. Home worlds will be picked by each team on their side of the galaxy. I am hosting, but not playing. See WANNA PLAY for more... GAME2 I'm going to attempt 4 smaller games in the large playing field. There will be 4 battles going on at one time. They will each be confined to one sector/quadrant of the galaxy. It's to the death. I'm looking for really dedicated players who really love to play the respective races. You should be registered too. This one's gonna get ugly. When all is said and done, if the four winners wish to battle each other. I say GO FOR IT!!!! Here are the matchups!!! Please not which races are taken... The Feds vs. The Cyborg (Lower left) (Both taken) The Colonies vs. The Robots (Upper Left) (Robots taken) The Empire vs. The Rebels (Upper Right) The Bird Men vs. The Facists (Lower Right) (BirdMen taken) I'm not playing, just hosting. This will probably be played under a 3.12c host tailored to look more like a 3.0 host, but we'll see. I do realize that the fed/borg match up is a hard sell, but there has to be someone out there to do it??? WANNA PLAY??? Use the handy dandy Reply-To: field above and let me know what game you want to play in, and send your top 5 race choices to me at pcrossma@avid.com. If you want to play in both, that's fine... Turns will start out M-F for a couple of weeks to get things going, then they will go to MWF. I can't wait for these games to start!!!!! -- _ __ A straight _ line __ may be the shortest distance between two points, ' ) ) but it is//by no/ ) means the most interesting. -- Dr. Who /--' __. . . // / __ _____ _ ______ __. ____ pcrossma@ulowell / (_/|_(_/_</_ (__/ / (_(_) \_)__/_)_/ / / <_(_/|_/ / <_ .ulowell.edu -- _ __ A straight _ line __ may be the shortest distance between two points, ' ) ) but it is//by no/ ) means the most interesting. -- Dr. Who /--' __. . . // / __ _____ _ ______ __. ____ pcrossma@ulowell / (_/|_(_/_</_ (__/ / (_(_) \_)__/_)_/ / / <_(_/|_/ / <_ .ulowell.edu Up
