Playtesters Wanted for WARPATH!, an American Indian PBeM Game From: gharris@jade.tufts.edu (George W. Harris) Date: Sat, 20 Nov 1993 18:56:29 +0000 WARPATH! is a play by mail game about life in a tribe of northern plains Indians in the first part of the 19th century. Each player will control a brave, who strives to help his family and tribe survive, and to gain the respect of his peers through his bravery, wisdom, fortitude and generosity. Each month you control your warrior's actions, from taking part in war raids against other tribes, through going on hunts for buffalo, elk and other game to provide for your family, to joining societies of braves of your age group. If you have an interest in the life of the native American Indian tribes, and want to give your input on a game designed around them, we would like for you to take part as a playtester in a PBeM game centered around that life. Simply reply to this message, giving both your email and snail-mail address, and we will send you a copy of the rules. In a few weeks (once everyone has read the rules), we will distribute characters and begin play. This playtest is open ended, and will have a rate of play of about one turn every three weeks. We look forward to hearing from you. We will accept responses through the fifteenth of December. Referenced By Up
