For example, here in Ciston, Vortex had vanished (and had not been killed or simply not used for two weeks and vanished off the roster). Then there was a message from Takuan that said that if anyone had heard from Vortex, contact him. I have heard that similar disappearances have happenedd at the other guilds (though I can't personally verify this). Is these events just random things buy Hugh to keep us wondering, or is something actually going on in the game (that players must find out about)? Now that I'm actually posting a letter, howz about some other questions: 2. The FAQ sometimes refers to encrypted messages (possibly from the message board?). Are these messages found whilst adventuring or are they appearing in the newsletters? I've never left Ciston while I've been playing and I don't recall ever seeing anything that might be encryped in a newsletter. I presume these messages are found whilst adventuring (tho I haven't found any). 3. Does anyone know what training Combat Sense past level 2 does? I believe Level 1 guarantees that yuou will not hit anyone else in combat, and Level 2 seems to let you "sense" attacks that are coming from your blind sides. 4. What do people think about using two weapons? Hugh has said that using two weapons gives you an offensive bonus plus "riposite" attacks (he didn't elaborate on this point). I presume he means a higher bonus on attacks following fakes or missed attacks by the opponent, but who know? - Stagger Lee #561 thinking about what kind of magic he shoulkd start learning... p.s. does anyone need a doubles partner for the Dec 6 Tournament?
