Re: DM stuff From: JFLETCH@ASNTSU.asn.net Date: Wed, 17 Nov 1993 20:18:53 +0000 To whomever asked about defenivse tactics (my system sucks, so I don't have the post here while I'm writing this): I guess I use them a little differently than Mr. Hitz. I have been trying some odd strats lately, and have had a degree of success. Parry- I use it with TP and WS mostly, and I haven't really done much with it. Like most, I run a pretty slow strat when I use it. I don't run any PS's (hate em in fact), so my experience there is minimal. As for PL, I run mine higher and don't usually rely on parry. A friend has been using this tactic with AB's and if he comes up with anything I'll post it. Dodge- I find that I use this one a little differently than most. I don't run an inverted strat when I use dodge. I tend to stay all out. I learned from a friend who TC'ed with an AB running 10-10-6-n-D that it doesn't really affect att very much and works well all out. My most recent work has been with an off TP that I run 5-9-5-n-D who not only keeps his att ability, but ripostes better when running with dodge. In fact, he has outjumped a ST and a LU in his last 2 fights running this in min 1. Riposte- Haven't used it much, but my experience with it has not been good. I would love to see any info that anyone has on this one also. Later. James. Referenced By Up
