Legends-2 things From: douma@cs.utwente.nl (Edwin E Douma) Date: Tue, 16 Nov 1993 12:52:30 +0000 Greetings, everybody. It is nice to see some more articles on Legends again. Lately, there were so many DM stats postings that I was beginning to wonder if a separate Legends-newsgroup should be created. OK, as the title suggests, two topics here. I want to attack a Lair in NIC1 (Holland) with a party, formed by both of my positions. How should I do that? I think, I should first give the order to accept character transfers to the receiving force, then transfer characters to that force and finally assign battle positions. Is this correct or do I forget something? Secondly, something quite different. I got news, some very nice goodies could be found in a Lair in the neighbourhood. But, surprise surprise, the Lair was located on the island in the middle of Dragon Lake! Of course, courageous as they are (ahum) my party members still want to go there. But how... Is a ship the only means by which they can cross the lake? This would be a problem, because I don't have the laborers nor the resources for that. Or could I get there by a special action (some fisherman willing to take me over for a fee) ? Can somebody tell me if it actually is a good idea to cross Dragon Lake or will my party be devoured by a big herd of waterdragons or something like that. I mean, a little exitement is fun but I do not want to exaggerate. Thanks for reading and till later, Edwin. I have seen people ending their stuff with a citation.
