Handing over the required stuff automatically completes the quest. You don't
need to do a Y **** to finish it - it happens. Don't know if you can Y ****
instead of handing over the goods, but i doubt it. Rewards for this kind of
quest are usually 50% of the value spent (ie spades bought at 40 will sell
for 60). Having everyone hand over stuff (99 for the character) is a good
way of getting some free orders (those that don't have the item will do an
effective talk - I've had quests offered like that)

I believe at least one powder does nothing on it's own - after many tries
and many failures !!
