ID# 597 the GARM's Will GARM: a collection from the trances of the Shaman... The Ancient Gods were destroyed and devoured be the new Gods of the Claw. Lead by Garm.... in a battle in which the heavens were made to split and shake, the will of Garm was victorious and the pieces of debris that were broken were tossed down to be the worlds.... ....there shall come a time when a great Golem shall be made and in its essence shall come the Will of Garm, and it shall move across the worlds with the cry of revenge against those who have stood against us...and they shall be but herds for the nourishment of Garm...and he shall come when the lower order shall rise up against the higher and shall shake it with its might such that the earth shall tremble and the flames of rock shall be known in the lands throughout...as was done in the heavens so be it on earth... ...Garm and his demigods, set to rule and to reflect upon the trials of his worshippers as one would on a lost star in the moonless night, for his will is sent among the people by the dreammakers and lesser demigods that will lead and instruct in the power of the divine ...till he returns anewed you are but to reach for the stars and seek the star that is no light... ----- With superstition and trances of the Shamen being the stock and trade of this mysterious religion, it is more a grouping of vaguely related oral legends with paradox and riddles common in its call. Occasionally a Priest of the religion will come that will earn the title "The Voice" (#2842) This is done by a conclave in which the Shamen are asked to put forth a riddle message to all (with the answer seperately listed in secret) and the top three are chosen by divine wisdom. The three priests of the faith must then decide amongst themselves by unanimous vote (with abstain/absent counting as NO) who shall be "The Voice". The Voice duties and abilities include: 1. The ability to "Trance Out" once every 12 months being a random teleport on the world. "Trance Out" special actions may be done even when a prisoner, and it places the character in a legion somewhere on the board but no longer as a prisoner. 2. May develop 2 ancient arcana spells for the religion each year but at least one of which must be a level 3 or less spell, and both must be in line with the vague philosophy above..example No spells to build any items, fortifications, or help to anyone who is not Saurian or Troll or Maratasen. 3. May drop one spell a year (will be needed as there can only be 30 spells in a religion) but may not drop any spell in the range: 200-300. 4. May convert a Sanctuary of Garm into a Cloud Castle when Garm Walks The Fields Of Glory again. Force number must be in the range 3500-4999. Garm's Golem must not be under the same position's control as the Cloud Castle. Referenced By Up
