Description:

War of the Clans: In the Beginning takes place in the Battle Tech Universe
at a time when the Clans are ready to begin actions in the Paragon Worlds.
 This action   will start as a series of battles for control of various
worlds.

Each player starts as a Clan Leader and is given "points" to create their
initial Clan.  This includes Mechs, Infantry, Aerospace, and Warships.
After the choices are made and the game begins, there will be
opportunities to research a number of techs, build additional units.

An excerpt from the forum page:

"I Nicholas Kerensky stand before you now to tell you the time has come to
retake the pentagon worlds. For to long they have been allowed to govern
themselves without our guidence. We are the clans we shall retake these
worlds for our own and intigrate there fallen citizen in to our new way of
life. This military action shall be known as Operation Klondike. We have
trained long and hard for this so let this be a statment of things to come
long live the clans"
