Any other slang I should know? A WaSte is indeed a wall of steel. "Scum" is a noun, verb and adjective. As a noun it virtually always is a total parry. Even if it is an offensive total parry, a tp is commonly referred to as a scum. As a verb it describes a style of fighting. Sort of like 1-1-1 Parry with 2 shields and wait for your opponent to drop. You might end up seeing fights of incredible length (60 minutes or more) in tourneys. Guess what both warriors are trying to do. As an adjective, it refers to a warrior who utilizes the scum style. As in a scum aimed blow, scum parry strike or scum waste. A scum scum is considered redundant. As for other slang "crit" refers to critical attack such as "unleashes his longsword in a piercingly accurate thrust". A ftf refers to a face-to-face tourney which is sort of like a tournament held face to face :-) DA refers to the Dark Arena (the trashcan of Duelmasters) TV refers to tournament victor. If your warrior goes 8-2 or better then you get TV status meaning your challenges have priority over all non-TV challenges. TC is tournament champion. If you win your class at a tourney your warrior gets TV status *and* gets to fight for free for 6 months and you get a prize like (one of) a potion of resurrection, 5 free skills, 3 free stat raises, immortality for one warrior, a warrior designed from scratch (84 points, put them where you want) which is called a Frankenstein or something along those lines. -- Chris Wein | cjwein@watcgl.uwaterloo.ca | "Everyone is entitled to be stupid, but some (519) 888-4548 | people abuse the privilege."
