I know you've gotten some good advice already, but here's my two cents
worth.
Total parries need will, but not speed so much. Had the will and speed
been reversed, he might not be too bad. If you want to experiment with
this guy, try this for a first minute strat.  5-3-3 Response. I've had
TP's who eat up the response tactic like their was no tomorrow.

OK but nothing special striker. I generally like strikers with at least
a 15 wit. Strikers also don't need con. Drop that armor to start with.
Offensives should rarely run with anything heavier than padded leather.
A lot of times I'll run strikers with no armor whatsoever, as early in their
career if they don't get the first swing, it'
s over anyways. Try 10-10-7 D, or 10-10-6 D for the first minute.

Yuck! Wastes need will, and lots of it! If you keep him up, use one weapon
(NOT the war flail!), maybe a broadsword, with an off-hand shield.
Don't wear him down with a back-up shield, maybe a back-up broadsword in
his main hand. Also, as a general rule of thumb, forget tactics on wastes
until you get more comforable with the fighter. Generally, I don' use
tactics on wastes AT ALL.

Servicable basher, nothing more. Again, drop the armor, stay with one
weapon (use it two-handed), no back-up shield. Bashers are tough to figure,
that 8-2-4 can work, but so can 10-10-7. Run him high, this guys gonna have
to swing first to have any chance.

Pretty much. It takes awhile to get use to the mechanics of the game. You
should see some of my early fights and warriors. Egads!

Hard to say without knowing your opponents better, but hey, it's better to
be lucky than good!

See individual responses above, but primarily you need to run your offensives
with as little armor as you feel comfortable in, and don't carry so much
in weaponry. Carrying all that load will slow your fighter down.

Hey, you can try it with a fighter you feel you can live without. If he wins,
great. If he loses, too bad. If he gets killed, that's one way to get rid
of fodder without using the Dark Arena (grin). The primary goal you should
have right now is learning the basic mechanics of the game, what makes a
good match-up, and what doesn't, what strategies work, and what doesn't.
Using the bloodfeud could be a way to learn a thing or two.

Nice! I would recommend for you, 11-5-9-15-17-10-17, LU. Other styles would
work here too (PL, SL, ST), but the lunger should be best for you at this
time. For a more experienced manager, I'd go 7-5-9-15-17-10-21, PL, but
that would be asking for trouble at this early stage in your DM career.

Don't worry so much about wins and losses right now. The key thing you
need to get right know is KNOWLEDGE. The more you learn, but experimenting,
learning, will mean many more wins in the long haul.

Try different weapons, see how well you warrior fights. If you run across
your favorite, your warrior should throw criticals at a much higher rate
than normally. However, it's possible that your warriors favorite is a
weapon he lackes the stats to use effectively in regular DM, so don't
worry about whether a certain weapon is your fav or not, but do find a
weapon that he does better with than others.
Good luck, and above all, don't give up hope. It will get better.
