I'm currently carting this pop seg around in a force, but will soon want to transfer it into a location. A couple of questions about this: If I transfer the whole pop into an existing pop seg (i.e., one with pop already) within the location, does the knowledge transfer with them? If I transfer a piece of the pop into an existing pop seg within the location, do both pop segs get the knowledge? If I have to transfer the pop seg into another mobile force's pop seg, which later transfers the pop into an empty pop seg within a location, does the knowledge make all of the transfers? It'd be kind of nice to be able to mass produce mithril axes (he said wist- fully). BTW, a clarification for NIC (from observation): a Magic (glimmered) normal weapon has DAM 1 a Mithril or Meldorian weapon has DAM 1 a Magic (glimmered) Mithril or Meldorian weapon has DAM 2 a Mithril or Meldorian weapon with a Pwr rating had DAM (1+Pwr) The current listing in the NIC Item List that postulates a DAM 5 for Pwr 3 weapons (and is caveated by a comment suggesting it may be high) is, in fact high. -- Robbie Westmoreland, Dilettante robbiew@inviso.com "Today history is no more than a thin thread of the remembered stretching over an ocean of the forgotten..."
