Legends Lists Updated

UPDATE UPDATE.  Please read.

NIC list has a few additions.
REALM list has a LOT of additions.
COA has a LOT of additions.

I Will post the COA and NIC lists on the net.  Anyone who wants the
ROI list should mail me to get it by e-mail if they cannot ftp it.
It is TOO BIG to keep posting on the Net.

Do keep the contributions coming.

The Legends MEGA Item and Monster lists are now available via ftp.
To get them:

ftp ftp.astro.cf.ac.uk
username: anonymous
password: your e-mail address

cd /pub/outgoing/Items

LINKS HAVE BEEN SET UP SO THAT IF YOU CAN GET THE LATEST VERSION OF EACH
LIST BY ftping:

coa.lis
roi.lis
nic.lis
monsters.lis

The raw files in that directory of the form:

NameVersionnumber.lis

eg. the current files are:

roi013.lis   The 13-08-93 files have become version 1.
 nic012.lis
 coa005.lis
 mons011.lis

Difference files:  ARE THESE DIFFERENCE FILES USEFUL GUYS+GIRLS?

nic10-11.dif
mons10-11.dif
roi4-5.dif
coa3-4.dif

It makes obvious what two versions it is the difference between.  This
file can be used to generate the later version from the earlier version
using the unix command `patch'.  Besides that, it is very useful for
pulling out the NEW additions to the list.

Hopefully this file names will be compatible to all users.

I will post the lists on the net at least once a month for those who
cannot ftp them.

Keep e-mailing the items.
