DM: New mailing list!!! From: Ben 'Critical' Hitz Date: Thu, 10 Mar 1994 19:15:52 +0000 I just made one. Here are the specs: (note: This is seperate and distinct from rec.games.pbm, I don't plan on mixing the two...) When you send mail to the following address: dm@cumbnd.bioc.columbia.edu You send mail to everyone on the list, including yourself!!!!!! That's it! No messy aliases! I've done it all for you. Questions, comments, subscription requests, or de-subscription requests go to: dm-request@cumbnd.bioc.columbia.edu (This is merely an alias to hitz, me.) If you _don't_ want to be on the list anymore or want to subscribe, send a mail to there, and I will fix you up likity split. If I have trouble with your address, I may have to remove you. Notably, this is Don Sheenan (dsheenan@juphil.sju.edu) and Alexander -- Assurniburnipal (alexander@agames.com) You are currently on the list. If I get repeated bounces, I will remove you until the problem gets cleared up. I will do my best to contact you thorough other list memebers/personal ads/smoke signals. Some guidelines: This is a Duelmasters List. Write about duelmasters. Keep personal insults for the personal ads. Be aware that we all don't fight in the same arenas, and therefore won't necessarily be interested or knowedgeable about specifics. I know there are several people in the following arenas: 18, 60, 53, 105, 103, 102. For now, go ahead and babble. We'll just see how it goes. If I get complaints, or the traffic is too high on stuff not of general interest, I might ask you to take it to private email (shock! -- Which is where you were 15 minutes ago). Finally, espeically when talking about a specific arena, USE SUBJECT HEADERS. That will allow people who don't log in 40 times a day (poor saps) to rapidly screen messages. Sorry I had to go all control-freak on you there. It's just a precaution. Be especially concious in the next few days, as people havn't had a chance to tell me they want out. Thanks, and I hope this is useful Ben Hitz Yur freindly DM list-guy. PUG. -- "With humor Comrade, always with a bit of Humor" From 'The Manchurian Candidate' Up
