Player seeking Twilight 2000 team From: arbergesen@yahoo.com Date: Sun, 21 May 2006 06:03:43 +0000 Hello out there, Here's the scoop. I'd really like to join a serious T2K PBEM game but I haven't been able to find an active one (Google searches turned up quite a few ghosts and dead-ends). Ideally, I'd like to start from the beginning- Kalisz that is- and play through Poland. I know most of you vets have already played the hell out of those modules but perhaps ther are some other newbs out there interested in firing one up again... Me and T2K go back a few years... I bought a bunch of Twilight 2000 materials as a kid in '87. I never actually got past character creation, but throughout my adolescence, I used the manuals as fodder for daydreams. Recently, I've found myself daydreaming in T2K land again and I'd love to actually get involved in some "real" action this time. So, in case you're recruiting... Here's some pertinent personal background so that you can separate the wheat from the chaf: I've never actually played a pen and paper RPG; I have played many PC and platorm RPGs. For a dreamer, I'm a realist. Realism is extremely important to me. Although I've never been in the service, I am a lifelong military history and technology enthusiast. I would rate myself as an expert in terms of knowledge in both area. Having long ago abandoned my T2K materials, I'm currently trying to get a hold of manuals and source material via EBay. I'm reliable almost to a fault. And loyal. Like an old dog. Well, there you have it. I'm looking forward to hearing from you. Referenced By Up
