Except under extreme circumstances, BSE is mostly an economic game with low intensity conflicts happening SOMEWHERE at all times. Large, protracted conflicts involving many affiliations are rare. Basically, there's little percentage in war. If you are playing the US version, don't worry. Things always seem worse than they really are.
