SUGAR RAY turn 16 From: fkschmid@cip.informatik.uni-erlangen.de (Frank Schmidt) Date: Sat, 23 Apr 1994 16:25:44 +0000 Turn 16 Match reports Sugar Ray is finally back again :-) From the answers I got, I decided the following: 1.) Turns will be every two weeks. 2.) In a turn, every boxer (except the champion and his challenger) has two matches against different opponents. The number of leagues is reduced to three. The boxers that win both matches are promoted (if they're not already in GOLD), those that lose both are relegated (if not in BRONZE). Those boxers with one tie and one won (lost) match will be promoted (relegated), too, but if one of the leagues becomes too big or too small that way, I will let them stay in their league. There also is a thing called "gold record": for every match won in GOLD a boxer gets three points, for every tie one point. The boxer with the highest gold record becomes the next challenger of the Champion. The gold record is set to zero if a boxer is relegated, or becomes the challenger of the Champion. 3.) A side effect of these reforms is that there won't be Dummys, or turns spent only for training. In the Championship, Battlin Bob Brown defends his title. Although Maniac tried, he never had a chance. But his next opponent, the shooting star Count Meout, KO'ed Obelix in the first round and will be dangerous for Battlin Bob, too. And there are others waiting for their chance... Robert Sprunk for example. Most likely he will be the next challenger, and his endurance is the highest in the league.
