Border Kingdoms PBEM

"The Border Kingdoms are the most favoured destination for adventurers
who want to proudly and boldly conquer a realm or establish their own
new kingdom. Lords, counts, dukes, kings and emperors rise, proclaim
themselves, and are swept away with the speed and regularity of waves
crashing upon a shore.�

The following PBEM is now accepting applications for players.  This
game will use a blend of 3.0 and 3.5 D&D rules to be decided upon
by the players and DM jointly as fits the playing styles/preferences.

Submissions will be accepted until Friday, June 23rd with accepted
players being notified of their acceptance by Sunday, June 25th.
Character creation will then take place based on your submission and
we will start the ball rolling hopefully by June 28th.  This game
will be using Yahoo Groups and those chosen will be given the link to
the new group.

I am looking for players who can post at least once a day and more if
their schedules will allow.  I am looking for players who are mature
enough to roll their own dice in combat and post more than just �I
hit the orc with my +5 vorpal sword.�  The game will hopefully have a
good mix of role playing, combat, storytelling and intrigue.  Rules
lawyers, min/maxers and montyhaulers need not apply.

The DM will post at least every other day and more frequently to move
the game along in cases of combat.  If you haven't skipped over the
rest of the ad by now, here is how apply.  Give a brief description
of your proposed character and then in character respond to the
following scenario:

"You come to a heavy oaken door with a leering gargoyle knocker.

Aunnika whispers: "I can hear voices on the other side, but cannot
make out what they are saying...I say I pick the lock and peek in."

Tal shakes his head and says: "Nay, whoever is beyond might take
affront to their locks being forced open�I say we knock on the door
and ask for entry."

Grushnik grunts and says: "Bah�.anyone in this accursed place is bound
to be any enemy...Ill bash down the door and you three fill whoever is
beyond with arrows."
