Info request for PBM rules From: lsrig@csv.warwick.ac.uk (Ms A F Simpson) Date: Thu, 21 Apr 1994 16:06:51 +0000 Does anyone out there have any information on running fairly small scale PBeM games? I would be grateful for any info at all. (including info in ftp sites, etc) I would especially be interested in stuff related to Whitewolf's Storyteller system, specifically Vampire the Masquerade. Items of specific interest are: 1. What is the best unit of time for running games in? 2. What sort of plots and story lines work best? 3. Suggestions for handling PC/PC and PC/NPC interaction. 4. How to handle physical actions and intentions such as 'I'll break into the company headquarters and try to find info on their secret projects'. But mostly, any stuff at all gratefully received. (Especially warnings of the pitfalls to watch out for!!) Also - would anyone be interested in playing in such a game were I to run one? At the moment I envisage doing a Storyteller game using only Vampires and Werewolves in a 'straight' World of Darkness setting (eg. pretty much as described in Vampire:the Masquerade.) I have access to Internet through work and could therefore play through Uni vacations. If you do express interest, don't expect an instant response. This is just a first toe in the water. If possible, please e-mail stuff to me at ac@dna.warwick.ac.uk as it's a lot easier for me to retrieve stuff from there. Thanks in advance love Anna Up
