INTER*ACTION From: journal@wonder.demon.co.uk (INTER*ACTION) Date: Tue, 10 May 1994 01:00:14 +0000 This message may not immediately seem to be on-topic, but please bear with me. INTER*ACTION: The Journal of Role-Playing and Storytelling Systems is a new magazine covering all aspects of role-playing. By that I don't just mean role-playing games or even computer adventures, but the whole gamut of role-playing, group storytelling and interactive narratives, including face-to-face games, MUDS, MUSHs and MUSES, VR, play-by-mail, psychoanalysis, drama therapy, theatre, hypertext, education... the list goes on. INTER*ACTION is a quasi-academic journal: it's not edited by academics and it doesn't take things quite as seriously as they would, but it approaches the subject from an informed and critical viewpoint. We want to analyse all aspects of role-play in order to understand how it works and how it can be made to work better. The first issue launches at the end of May. If you're interested, send a message to journal@wonder.demon.co.uk and I'll email you more information about the first issue and how to get hold of copies. Thanks for your time and interest. -- James Wallis Publisher of INTER*ACTION: The Journal of Role-Playing and Storytelling Systems (journal@wonder.demon.co.uk) Up
