Not quite random.  There are 585 spell combinations.  This is taking into
consideration no duplicate numbers and no 0's.  Beyond that, yeah.  How
you pick them could be random.  The results may give a clue about if the spell
tried IS a spell or not.

I whole heartedly agree!!  (As a matter of fact I need to find such an
alliance in Game 3 - any takers?)
