I need some advice. So far myself and a few associates are thinking of setting up for the Druid faction so I wouldn't mind having a Centaur Druid main character, however this means I get Centaur population, 250 of them and they don't grow very fast. I have some people advising me that if I'm going for Overlord the only thing to do is have human pop. Has any body out there done well with a non-human Overlord or Merc position? What (in your opinion) are the benefits/ disadvantages of Overlord over Merc? Which would you choose? How many soldiers do you normally get compared to the starting population numbers?
