OLYMPIA: Alliance Registry Wanted From: morrow@romulus.rutgers.edu (John Morrow) Date: Thu, 30 Jun 1994 23:31:37 +0000 IF you are playing Olympia AND you have an alliance, why not let others in on who is in our alliance? We could even make an alliance registry to keep new players informed on who they are dealing with. Alliances should at least present a spokesperson for other people to contact with questions or complaints... We already have some amorphous alliances making bold claims to land they have never even set foot on (and have yet to prove they CAN set foot on) yet these people seem reluctant to actually say who is IN these alliances. Are we dealing with three people who want to divvy three continents between themselves? A single person setting sail for West Camaris CALLING themself an alliance to scare others off? C'mon people. IDENTIFY yourselves. I know there are real alliances out there but it would help to know who the members are. It is for your own protection as well. It will keep unaffiliated people from using your alliance's name to their benefit and your detriment... John Morrow The Seekers [ad9] Referenced By Up
