[PBEM News] Is anyone interested? From: greegan@shaw-dot-ca.no-spam.invalid (greegan) Date: Wed, 05 Jul 2006 03:05:10 +0000 Hello, I just found this site after discovering pbem.com at ironygames didn't exist any more... I've been wanting to work on a pbem for a while but I have a twist to my offer... rptools.net has a free map tool that lets players use a "tabletop" view of maps in real time. Think of that "monkey" program but a hell of alot better. That, with a dice roller in the chat bar, and a network connection letting the DM run an adventure with an FoW on any *.png map we want to use... Also I would use DMGenie (free for I THINK 60 days - it could be just 30 - its been a while since I purchased it) and we could have a live table top adventure happening. If anyone is interested in a few hours a week spending it to play (as close as) real PnP Dungeons and Dragons you can get (minus headsets) then reply back to this post... I'm intersted in what others think about this.. BTW I would like to run THE ORIGINAL Temple of Elemental Evil campaign adventure in 3.5 rules... DMGenie uses the SRD rules so I would only allow classes and races that would originate from that product.
