Here are some tips on Bad Guys from Steve Tierney of the Madhouse:

(1)  Work on your Doomsday Machine as early as possible, the optimum amount
to spend is $800.

(2)  Avoid mass battles with other EMs as these are costly and dangerous,
until you can get together with some allies, and even then can be very
nasty.

(3)  Avoid becoming a heroes Arch-Enemy, VERY BAD NEWS.

(4)  It takes 2 Acid grenades to achieve a Bank Robbery.  One for the
vault, one for the main door.

(5)  Forget the Bank of America, it's virtually impossible.

(6)  Kidnapping is generally a more reliable money earner than robberies.
As a guide, don't bother trying for more than $1500 as a ransom unless you
have somebody REALLY famous.

(7)  Attend ALL meetings of Evil Masterminds.  They gain you lots of
goodies.
